She is often seen on Anderson Cooper 360 and CNN Tonight along with The Lead Alongside Jake Tapper. The Washington Post described her as "bright-eyed and keen-tongued" with "a aggressive and spirited attitude." Kirsten has written Saving Grace: Say Your Truth, Stay Centred and Develop a Relationship with the People who make you mad (Convergent Book). Prior to beginning her career at USA Today Kirsten worked at Daily Beast, American Prospect Online, and New York Post. The Columbia Journalism Review called her "an bold and open-minded journalist" in a sea of opposition in Fox News, where she also worked as a political analyst.
