Anita Barone
Anita Barone is a versatile stage actress who's mostly restricted to TV sitcoms. She got her first break in this medium as she got married to Jeff Foxworthy during "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," a series that aired on ABC between 1995 and 1996. Barone was the first to make a performance on stage at the age of five in Detroit which is where she was raised following the move of her family to the city from St Louis. At the age of 23 Barone was on stage in over 50 plays mostly for university productions and regional theaters. The role she played was Juliet, a frightened young nun in "Agnes of God,"" Helen Keller, the main character in "Monday After the Miracle," and Juliet as well on screen in "Romeo and Juliet." In 1987, she had a role in a film known as "Ricochet". She also part of a scene from "The Rosary Murders". And in 1996, she was the lead role in an independent romantic comedy known as "Just Friends". Barone was recruited by NBC between 1990 and 1991 as a stockholder for "Carol and Company", the ill fated plan to Carol Burnett at reviving the sketch comedy/variety TV show. Barone also appeared in"The Wounded Heart" on the USA Network movie "Wounded Heart" in 1995. She eventually returned to her weekly sitcom, starring alongside Michael Chiklis on "Daddio".
